Indian Stock Markets to remain open

Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will maintain regular trading hours on Budget Day, February 1st, 2025. Trading will occur during regular market hours, from 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM, with a pre-market session from 9:00 AM to 9:08 AM.

This allows market participants, including investors and traders, to respond immediately to the budget announcements. This practice of maintaining open markets on Budget Day has been established in previous years, facilitating a timely and efficient market response to the government's fiscal policies and announcements.
